WHAT WE DO...
The Lighthouse Foundation's Community Auto LICO is a Low-Income Car Ownership program and operates as a non-profit car dealership that accepts donated cars, has them inspected and repaired when mechanically and fiscally feasible, and then sells them at a discount to qualified low-income families and individuals. The cost of most of our vehicles ranges from $2,000.00 - $3,500.00, which in most cases is 25-50% below suggested retail values.
WHAT YOU DO TO QUALIFY…
To purchase a vehicle through the Community Auto LICO Program, you must meet the following requirements:
•Be employed 25 or more hours per week
•Have a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License
•Be 250% or less of the Federal Poverty Level based on household size
(For example, an individual can make no more than $31,000 per year. Each additional person in
the household increases that number by approximately $11,000 based on 2018 numbers.)
•Agree to share photos and story with the public via Community Auto and The Lighthouse Foundation
If you meet ALL OF THE ABOVE QUALIFICATIONS, please fill out the application below.
