The mission of The Lighthouse Foundation is encouraging others to find hope in Christ while meeting their immediate needs and empowering them towards self-sufficiency.

The Lighthouse Foundation is a Christian outreach organization meeting the needs of impoverished individuals and families in northern Allegheny and Butler County.

PROGRAMS & MINISTRIES

Interim & Transitional Housing

The Lighthouse maintains six transitional housing locations and an interim housing facility for single adults and families.  All residents must adhere to the program guidelines and rules during their stay. 

Food Programs

The Lighthouse Foundation operates the largest weekly food pantry in Butler County.  Other food programs include the Full Table Weekend Backpack Project.

LICO (Low Income Car Ownership) Program
 

Reliable transportation is a barrier to self-sufficiency for many people.  Our LICO program can help secure safe, reliable transportation to those in need for the purpose of employment."  

Whole Life Ministries

Whole Life Ministries encompasses programs designed to help people avoid homelessness, find meaningful employment, and learn how to manage their finances.

Computer Classes

Our Computer Lab is updated with brand new computers for all students!  Computer Classes are offered four to six times per year to help people gain the skills they need to be more employable.
