WHOLE LIFE MINISTRIES
Whole Life Ministries, formerly called Family Ministries, helps to address the immediate and emergency financial needs of individuals, families, and seniors, and provides the first steps towards rehabilitation and development. The program combines emergency financial relief with job training and other life skills programs.
Jobs For Life
Jobs for Life is a global nonprofit organization that engages and equips local Christian outreach organizations and churches to address the impact of joblessness through the dignity of work. Powerful things happen in the class. Dignity is restored. Character is built. Lives are transformed. The Lighthouse Foundation, in partnership with First United Methodist Church of Butler, offers this life changing 8-week class twice per year. Ideal candidates for the class are adults who are unemployed, underemployed, returning to the community after a period of incarceration, or recent high school graduates who are unsure of their future plans.
Faith and Finances
Faith & Finances is a series of 12 sessions on financial literacy for low-income or financially vulnerable adults. Students learn how to manage their finances in accordance with biblical principles and overcome obstacles, set savings goals, make spending plans, manage debt and loans, and more! If you are interested in applying for the next class, please contact Victoria Spreng.
